Sade and John Legend are going on tour together starting this summer. I am so excited, as should you be. Sade has the most unique and soothing voice I – and many others – have ever heard. Since the 1980s, her and her band have continually produced a timeless portfolio of music, lyrics, and imagery. Graceful and beautiful, Sade is ageless and a classic you don’t want to miss. Technically, the name “Sade” is considered the name of the band she is in – who are spectacular as well. Her name is Sade Abu, her father was Nigerian and her mother was English. She currently lives in the UK. Regardless of the many adaptations of “Smooth Operator,” “No Ordinary Love,” and countless others, no one can do it like Sade. John Legend has been sharing his undeniable talent in the mainstream entertainment industry since 2004 with his debut “Get Lifted.” A singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor, John Legend continues to evolve to the next level. The texture of his voice is to die for (figuratively of course). His lyrics always have a message to make you feel good, to make you think, and to make you stay active in the community. He also shows this by example, in particular with education. He is from Springfield, Ohio, started playing the piano when he was 4 years old, graduated from high school at the age of 16 as salutatorian, and is a University of Pennsylvania alum. Not all the tour dates are up, but the summer and early fall are set. You definitely need to check them out if they are in your area.
